New Year’s Eve in Dubai is a city-wide celebration, with a plethora of luxurious dinners, sumptuous brunches, and all-out parties to pick from at all of your favorite restaurants and bars in Dubai.
With 2023 rapidly approaching, numerous Dubai residents have prepared to celebrate the New Year in style. If you’re not sure how or where to celebrate, we compiled a list of some of the most interesting venues that still have room for you.
Here are 10 locations from where it isn’t too late to spend the final night of 2022:
- Alantis:
A gala dinner with pop singer Kylie Minogue, a magnificent buffet with caviar and lobster, and limitless drinks – New Year’s Eve doesn’t get any better than this! Glittering ice sculptures and over 65 superbly created sweets will be available at the elegant black-tie event. Children attending the event are welcomed to their own party in the Asateer Tent, which includes bouncy castles, outdoor movies, and game booths.
- Five Guys, Dubai Mall
If you want to ring in the year 2023 while viewing the Dubai Fountain and the Burj Khalifa fireworks, go to Five Guys on the lower ground level of Dubai Mall. The package includes burgers, beverages, and an excellent position view of one of the city’s most popular NYE places for Dh1,850 per person on the fountain promenade and Dh1,500 on the Five Guys terrace.
- BB, Social DIFC:
Enjoy a lively house party at BB Social in DIFC, where each level is styled after a different decade! Guests can begin on the bottom floor with the 90’s, go to the middle floor for the 80’s, and finish on the top floor with the 70’s. Entry to the venue costs Dh750 per person for the dinner and afterparty, which lasts from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m., and Dh350 for only the afterparty, which starts at midnight.
- Motiongate:
Here’s one for the youngsters. A three-day New Year’s Eve celebration is the ideal way to greet 2023. The festivities, which will take place over three days from Thursday, December 29 to Saturday, December 31, between 5 and 7 p.m., will feature a meet and greet with Alex the lion and an all-new stage production called King Julien’s Holiday Stomp. There is something for everyone, young and old, with a musical procession, colorful markets, and more.
- Meshico, Pointe:
Do you want to witness the fireworks at the Pointe this New Year’s Eve? Book a table at one of the waterfront restaurants, such as Meshico, which offers a set meal for the evening. Indoor seating begins at Dh800 per person, while front terrace seating starts at Dh1500 per person. Guests are recommended to use the free shuttle buses from Nakheel Mall to the beachfront location, which operate from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m., or the Palm Monorail, which runs from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m.
- Zam Zam Mandi, Jumeirah 1:
Take in the festive atmosphere of Jumeirah Road, watch fireworks, and dine with a large group of friends at Zam Zam mandi restaurant near Jumeirah Mosque. The eatery serves endless cuisine and appetisers from 7pm till beyond midnight for Dh1,000 for a group of 10 persons.
- February 30, Palm West Beach:
This New Year’s Eve, enjoy a gourmet feast crafted by Chef Reif Othman at February 30. On December 31 from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., guests may reserve a table at the beachfront restaurant to enjoy holiday cocktails, live music, and panoramic views for a minimum expenditure of Dh1,500 per person, which includes Dh350 for a set sharing dish for four.
- D3 Yacht:
What better way to ring in the New Year than than partying the night away on a boat in Dubai Marina with friends and family? Book a D3 boat and have a front-row seat to the pyrotechnics. The package, which costs between Dh15,000 and Dh20,000 for a vessel carrying 15 people, includes a free live BBQ, unlimited beverages, and water.
- Farzi Café, Citywalk:
Imagine biting on a succulent Murgh Tikka Pasanda as the year 2023 approaches. Farzi Café in Citywalk serves a magnificent 4-course Indian meal that includes salads, chaats, and appetizers. The meal is priced at Dh179 per person and is offered at both City Walk and Mall of the Emirates locations.
